About Thumbprint Soap

Hello, I'm Katie Adams, the owner and product developer at Thumbprint Soap. This business was born from a desire to use fewer toxic ingredients in my day-to-day routine. I started off buying handmade soaps, but after seeing how beautiful they could be, I just had to learn how to make it myself. So I learned and then I reformulated until I created a product that I love using every day.

My brand name came from the notion that no two bars of soap are exactly the same, just like snowflakes or fingerprints. Unique is beautiful, after all!

When choosing ingredients, I make sure that my fragrance oils are free of phthalates/nitro musks and my preservatives (for lotions and scrubs) are free from parabens. 

I'm proud to say that my product offering has grown quite a bit since 2013, but making soap is still my favorite part. I'm also happy to be able to donate regularly to organizations that align with my values through fundraising products.
