K2 Stone is a rare and unique mineral that is mined in the foothills of the second highest mountain on Earth, Mount K2 in the Karakoram mountain range, bordering Pakistan and China. Also known as Afghanite, the K2 stone is associated with the 3rd eye chakra and can assist in developing one's intuition while remaining protected.
This stone is sometimes called K2 Jasper, although it is not made of jasper at all. K2 is formed of granite with deposits of Azurite and/or Malachite which make the blue and green shades.
