Environmentally Friendly Products I Use In My Home

So much has changed about our way of life since early in 2020. We spend more time in our homes now, which means we do more online shopping, order more take out and pick up our groceries instead of shopping in person. I can't be the only one who's noticed all of the additional waste that's created from these new routines. More plastic grocery bags (just when we'd all finally gotten used to bringing our reusable bags), more packing materials, more styrofoam to-go containers...and this is just small scale. Think about all of the restaurants that are installing these plastic outdoor...

New! Shop Greener With Carbon Neutral Shipping

Guess what? We recently found an app called Cloverly which allows us to offer carbon neutral shipping on every order. We're pretty excited to be able to provide this to our customers. What Is Carbon Neutral Shipping? Every time something is shipped, it has an effect on the environment. Cars, trucks and airplanes take that package from point A to point B (and maybe onto point C and D, too). Easter is only a couple of weeks away, and it doesn't look like Easter egg hunts and family get togethers are going to be wise this year. But that doesn't mean you can't put together a really great Easter basket for your kids! Here are some fabulous products from small businesses that your kids (of all ages) will love. Instead of buying a throw away basket to put all the goodies in, consider a handmade "Bunny Bucket" from Eme Handmade. She's taking custom orders just until the end of March, so hurry if you want one!    A headband or scrunchie from...

Small Businesses Are Having to Get Creative Over COVID-19

I won't sugar coat it, I'm starting to freak out a little. You see, 2020 was the first year since starting this business I didn't take a part-time job to supplement my income. January was generous, with checks from the holidays still rolling in and a couple of unexpected wholesale orders; I was feeling very pleased with myself. Fast forward to March and one by one, my stockists are temporarily closing their doors and spring markets are being canceled to prevent the spread of infection. Most years, April kicks off market season with one or two shows who's success depends...
